Do I need to remove furniture from the room?

We do ask that you remove small and fragile objects from the room before we start decorating, however you can leave all other items. On the day we start, we will move all items in to the middle of the room and cover with protective sheets. All carpets and floorings will also be fully covered.

How far do you travel?

We do not add on any additional travel costs if the work is within Exeter and the surrounding towns, i.e.- Tiverton, Honiton, Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Crediton. If the work is over half an hours drive from Exeter, a small travel rate does apply (please ask for further details).

Are there any ‘hidden extras’?

NO…All our prices are made very clear on the quotation before we start the work. If at any stage of the job you would like some extra work carried out, we will once again put this in writing for your approval before any work is started.

How and when do I pay the final bill?

Most of our customers pay by cheque; however we do accept cash or bank transfers. Payment is due within 7 days of the work being finished. If the work is substantial and several weeks’ worth, we may request an interim payment after completing initial stages of the job.

What hours do you work?

Normal hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. However we do also work during evenings, nights and weekends if it is more suitable to the customer.

I think I need scaffolding, who arranges it?

We can recommend scaffolding companies to our customers for them to arrange at their convenience. All we ask is that any equipment is in place prior to my work commencing.

We can hire other equipment such as cherry pickers and skips as required.

Do I need to be at home during the work?

No. Most of our customers go to work, or even away for a few days. We are happy to pick up keys and lock up at the end of the day.

We are about to move into a new house - Should we wait and have it decorated before we move ? 

Yes. If we have an empty house to fully decorate, we can complete the project over twice as fast, maybe by using a paint sprayer. As its faster - it will save you money on labour costs !
